Originally a humble coin storage facility, repurposed into a place for beer kegs and now home to The Vault. A blank space event venue. This brutalist, pillar-free concrete bunker with a 1000 person standing capacity is now home to world-class DJ’s, immersive audio-visual experiences, art performances, and regional produce markets.
The Winter lineup has kept Canberra warm, featuring international names and homegrown talent through 36 hours of epic parties to Oozy Boozy wine & cheese markets. Other well-known names in the lineup include Sydney’s iconic Heaps Gay, and other big players in the party scene, including Decibel Creative, Dragon Dreaming, and a local collaboration with Sunburn and Turning Tables. Plus, plenty of fun for the littles, from Roller Discos to a kid-friendly rave, and SPACE TIME! an immersive experience through the galaxy.

Dionysus curated Canberra's biggest, Ooziest and Booziest Market for the King’s birthday long weekend. In partnership with Canberra Wines and Le Cheeserie, The Vault opened its doors for a long weekend of intimate markets showcasing cheese, wine and their merry cultures. Each ticket included an Italian stemless wine glass, a cheese board and samples of local wines and international cheeses. Attendees could try everything and buy their favourite bottles of wine or 100gm portions of cheese to take home.

The Vault proved its versatility when Dionysus transformed the space into a theatre venue for the Australian Dance Party’s ‘Data Set’; A dance between two bodies, light, sound, and AI. The Data Set was a performance that imagined a world where we physicalise the data that forms us and interrogate its purpose and power.
