National Folk Festival

The National Folk Festival is Australia's longest running major folk festival bringing over 40,000 attendees to Canberra during the Easter long weekend each year. The Festival features an excellent list of national and international performers in the folk genre and provides a range of engagement for its patrons from multiple music stages to community workshops and street food stalls.

Dionysus was engaged to reinvigorate and lead the festival’s communications for its 54th anniversary in 2020 and to announce the great Katie Noonan as the Artistic Director. The engagement wound up over covid.
